What You Don’t Know About Cigarette Smoking


Quitting cigarette smoking entails knowing what cigarette smoking really is. You do not necessarily have to dig deeper on the scientific side, but having an idea on how cigarette smoking results to addiction can help you more than you can imagine.

A stick of cigarette contains more than 4,000 chemicals, and all of them may cause harmful effects to the body. Most of them are also cancerous but none of them are addicting. Nicotine is the sole culprit for the addiction and urges that you feel every day.


The first better option (but not final solution) in quitting cigarette smoking is to stop inhaling the cancerous chemicals by feeding your body only with the addicting substance – nicotine. Nicotine gums are famous for this reason.

Nonetheless, remember that you will totally succeed in quitting cigarette smoking only if you will kick the habit altogether.
