Why Eat Healthily When Quitting Cigarette Smoking?


When you finally get decisive in pursuing your mission to quit smoking, you may find yourself looking for reasons again to return to cigarette smoking which is just natural as your body adjusts to the changes. A lot of quitters feel that cigarette smoking is not worth quitting due to the nicotine withdrawal effects.


One common side effect of quitting cigarette smoking is weight gain. This happens because once the nicotine loses its effect in the body, the metabolism declines but only for a short period of time. As a result, you gain weight, but that is absolutely controllable if only you will stay away from fatty foods and bingeing habits.
